The project brings together a unique selection of food safety experts from all parts of the world, with professional backgrounds from academia, governments, NGO and different industries. The consortium consists of 8 contract partners (“core members”), who will be responsible for the various activities performed.

Project partners
The core members have been selected based on their immense experience in coordinating international programmes, their access and capability to organize parallel networks within their country/region and their experience in operation in international boards handling complex and sensitive information. Platform members
The Platform members provide support to the core group. They have been selected based upon their excellent access to national and/or regional programmes on emerging food safety risk and their knowledge on food safety problems in general. The selection of Platform members will continue throughout the project duration in order to increase the coverage in some parts of the world.
